Making a Difference for Over 3 Decades
At Heritage Toyota Owings Mills, we understand our role extends far beyond providing exceptional car buying and service experiences. Giving back to the Baltimore community is a key component of our mission and vision.

MileOneCares, our corporate giving program, is committed to creating meaningful partnerships with those who are making lives better. We focus our efforts in the areas of access to safe transportation and strengthening our communities. These pillars are at the heart of our giving.

FEATURED COMMUNITY PARTNERS

ShareBaby

ShareBaby addresses the unmet basic needs of Baltimore's most
vulnerable young children through the distribution of diapers and other
essential items. In addition to annual diaper and clothing drives, Heritage
Toyota Owings Mills is proud to partner with ShareBaby to support their car seat
distribution program.

Dollars donated to ShareBaby are used to purchase car seats which are
then given to ShareBaby's community partners. Families also receive
training on proper harnessing and car seat installation from Maryland Kids in Safety Seats (KISS).

American Cancer Society

Since 2000, MileOne has raised over $5 million for those who are fighting cancer and to fund cancer research. Heritage Toyota Owings Mills is proud to also partner with The American Cancer Society Road to Recovery program which pays for rides for cancer patients going to and from treatment.

In addition, we recently contributed $260,000 for a guest services welcome
suite at the future, reimagined Baltimore Hope Lodge which will provide
free lodging for cancer patients when they travel long distance to Baltimore for treatment.

Vehicles for Change

Vehicles for Change awards vehicles to low-income families with much
needed transportation to get to jobs, for after school programs and
more through their Car Award Program. MileOne donates vehicles to this
program which are then awarded to individuals for as little as $950.

Since first partnering with Vehicles for Change in 2015, we've donated
over 200 vehicles. Not only do we donate cars to this program, but we
also support Vehicle for Change's Full Circle Training Program, which trains
incarcerated individuals to become skilled mechanics.
